Biographical Note: Naomi
Sved was born and raised in Maryland. After graduating from the
University of Maryland she moved to the Philadelphia area where she
managed the finances of a local wholesale food distribution company.
Upon retiring in 2007 she has been writing and attending classes in the
writing field. See December 2009 issue for another of her poems.
